Art Direction & Design for DDB & We Are Unlimited™, Chicago
As part of their move towards sustainability, McDonald’s worked with DDB to help create a new visual identity for the iconic brand. I was the Senior Art Director and lead designer on this project. We began with mood board explorations and continued into a full site redesign of McDonalds.com. The look and feel were intended to reflect their new attitude and the food they aspired to serve—fresh, artisanal, hand-crafted, and sustainably sourced. For me, this project began as a freelance opportunity with DDB and evolved into a full-time Creative Director position with We Are Unlimited. There, I led a team of five in the ongoing UX/UI design and content creation for McDonalds.com and a portion of the global mobile app.
